‘Sherlock Holmes,’ echoes sorcerer Lord Blackwood in the dungeons. That my fellow readers would be the only key thing that would always make me laugh like the evil madman himself! No, he didn’t laugh in the movie. Its not Guy’s style.
Sherlock Holmes is called to solve a mystery that involve sorcery. While Dr. Watson prepares to leave his partnership for a married life, Holmes is drawn to his inability to be ‘normal’ and his obsession-crush on Irene Adler (Rachael McAdams) and her sudden re-appearance in London. All these as usual are connected, but in what way?
Guy’s style. Thats enough to make you dash for the ticket. Forget the Robert Downey Jr-Jude Law bro-mance…(oh no. I can hear my friend coming after me with a cleaver over her Downey Jr. obsession.) If its Guy, it is interesting. The color, the delivery, the British-Guy humor – take a good seat in the cinema and enjoy the ride. It is a classy-grunt movie leading to your self-proven theory that Sherlock 2 is underway. Yes it is. 2011. Be patient.
To those who follows Conan Doyle’s writings like a cult, please ‘try’ and enjoy the movie. I love his books and have countless collection (my fav has always been the one with Irene Adler 
) and I enjoyed this movie tremendously because this movie did not delve in Sherlocks unexplained methods but simply celebrates the odd man at his glorious weirdo as he is. In terms of actor selection, I’d say its good enough. Robert gave the annoying-good-guy-everyone-still-wants-to-see a good run. And yes, I like saying bro-mance like sneezing simply because I think the movie is evenly about it! Watson is leaving Holmes for good! Of course Holmes can’t accept it! He loves his loyal man! And yes he is still in denial about Irene. Poor Holmes only has his wit and cases to keep him company.
Watch this movie if…you love Guy Ritchie’s style and/or you’re obsessed with our bro-mance (which is very entertaining and still manly!) Robert knows how to shake em bro-mance to the next level of awe-manliness. I enjoyed this movie, simply because it took me away from my normal life. Thats a movie role. Go and enjoy this!
