HOLA!

Silly pose. I just bought myself 2 new lomo cameras just to fool around. Intend to take some weird and yet artistic photos (at my own standard). Got interested into lomography as recommended by few of my friends. So i check it out which outlet that actually still carries it. Found out from the “lomographyasia” website that ‘Room’ is one of the retailer in Malaysia. I called in to 2 different outlets and they mentioned that it is out of stock and not sure when it will be available. I thought of ordering with them and wait but was advised to check it out online. So I did. They sell it in amazon.com and some of the model can be delivered to Malaysia.

I was eyeing for few models that I intend to buy, periodically. Until one day, I went to this outlet called Wondermilk in Damansara Uptown and saw the lomo cams at the shelf. I cant believed my eyes that I have finally found it. The following day I went back there again and gotten myself these 2 models. I picked these 2 because I can use any 35mm films, which can be developed universally.

I had my eye on the Diana and Holga as well. Probably the next round.

The Coloursplash kit came with a 35mm film, which is cool. I used it on my Fisheye cam and I had few photos to show. From thereon, I have been obsessing over lomo cameras and other brands with the same specification as well. Now my buddy Hon is very much involved and actively exploring new techniques in “exploiting’ the lomo cameras to create new images.

For lomo newbies, here is some information that I have gathered and go ahead and exposed yourself “with what lomo is all about?”
